Text about the story The Olde Dog's Magic Biscuits Text about the story cont.

Welcome to the world of The Olde Dog's Magic Biscuits

A tale of adventure, dreams, and the unbreakable bond between a dog, Angel, and his human, Mother. It explores themes of discord in intimate relationships, chronic pain, and what it truly means to love in all senses of the word.

The element of fantasy, found in the Dreamland, serves as a conduit for understanding and making sense of real-life struggles—those that are hard and confusing. The story is narrated by Angel, offering his unique perspective as an LD (Little Dog).

This novella falls under the fantasy genre with light humor and drama, touching on serious topics such as emotional abuse and living with chronic pain. It is intended for adult readers (16+), with very little swearing, no explicit violence or sex scenes, and only moments of implied threat.

I wrote this book to entertain, to make you laugh, and perhaps to encourage reflection on the complexities and difficulties that some people face in real life. I also wanted to highlight the different facets of love—what it means to love—and how truly special dogs are.

Small dogs, in particular, make extraordinary companions in this beautiful yet difficult world.
